Northeast Region Director, Forest Stewards Guild
I am inspired by the dedicated, full-of-life people who share the “spark” that inspires us in forest. I love the diversity of in the Forest Stewards Guild. We are students, we are retirees with a lifetime of field experience to share. We are foresters, conservation professionals, wildlife biologists, firefighters, and everything in between. We are women, we are men. We come from rural landscapes and "green” cities. We are religious, or we aren’t but have a spirituality about the forest. As different as we are, we share a stewardship ethic that drives us to put the forest first in our work. This diversity strengthens the Guild. Now _that_ is inspiring.
